Alpha Flight discovers that by going back in time and convincing Jimmy Hudson not to confront Jerry Jaxon in New York, they have changed the timeline and find themselves facing an army of Box robots created by Jaxon. Sasquatch does the math and decides to send Centennial back in time again, this time to convince Hudson to make the trip to face off with Jaxon hoping this will fix the time conundrum. This works to an extent as the Box robots in the present disappear but they are replaced by a corrosive acid rain that threatens to melt all of Canada.
