Amazing Detective Cases #12
In "The Man Who Shrunk," detective Jim Kirby takes on a bizarre case when a string of missing entertainers leads him to Dr. Marcus, a scientist using a shrinking formula to turn performers into tiny living dolls for a TV spectacle. With the help of Martin Rose’s expressive art, Kirby’s shocking journey into Marcus’ bloodstream unfolds in a surreal, intimate adventure that blurs the line between science and spectacle. The story’s striking visuals are brought to life on the cover by Sol Brodsky, capturing the eerie wonder of the shrinking phenomenon in a 10-cent comic from 1952.
