“Boogie Buggy”

In "Boogie Buggy," Archie’s temporary cane becomes a surprisingly mischievous accessory after he injures his leg, prompting Veronica to step in with a style upgrade—borrowing some of Mr. Lodge’s duds to give him a more polished look. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Dan DeCarlo Jr. with inks by Rudy Lapick and letters by Bill Yoshida, the issue captures the classic charm of the series with a playful twist. The cover, penciled by Dan DeCarlo, perfectly captures Archie’s awkwardly stylish new look.

After hurting his leg, Archie has to use a cane for a while. Veronica thinks he needs a more sophisticated outfit to go with the cane, so she takes him to her house and loans him some of Mr. Lodge's clothes. Archie looks more sophisticated, but is still a menace with his cane.
