Archie Comics #35
In "Sitting It Out," Archie and his family find themselves the odd ones out when everyone seems to be giving them the cold shoulder. When a job offer from another city sparks a surprise farewell party, the family's mood shifts—only for Archie's father to surprise everyone by deciding to stay in Riverdale. Written by Ray Gill and illustrated by Bill Vigoda, this 1948 classic captures the small-town charm and gentle humor that defined Archie's early days, with full art by Vigoda on both interior and cover.
