Archie Comics Digest #12
In "Teacher's Pest," Betty’s new romance with Archie takes a quirky turn when Veronica lends her a seemingly innocent brooch—only for it to secretly broadcast a signal, letting Veronica track the couple’s every move. When the brooch flies out of Archie’s jalopy and is snatched by a curious hound, Veronica’s surveillance mission leads her through some unexpectedly messy territory. Dan DeCarlo’s expressive art brings the classic Archie charm to life in this 1975 digest, where even the smallest accessories can spark a wild adventure.

When Betty dates Archie, Veronica loans her a brooch to wear. With Veronica's usual ulterior motive, the borrowed brooch transmits a radio signal so that Veronica can keep an eye on the pair. When a cape with the brooch blows out of Archie's jalopy and is grabbed by a playful hound, Veronica has to follow the signal through some less-than-desirable places.
