“The Die Is Cast”

In "The Die Is Cast," Little Archie uncovers a wild plot when he learns that Mad Doctor Doom and Chester are planning to rob a bank with a high-tech ray gun called the Bank Blaster. After being captured by Doom’s Super-Sucker and struggling to convince anyone of the danger, Archie must rally the unlikely help of Pop Feebly and an old cannon to stop the heist. Written and illustrated by Bob Bolling, with inks by Mike Esposito, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1987 adventure blends classic Archie charm with a surprisingly high-stakes caper, all wrapped in a cover by Bolling and Esposito.
