Betty, Veronica and their friends take a trip around the world in Mr. Lodge's new experimental plane, the "BV 300." During their travels, they find two baby dinosaurs on an island, and take them back to Riverdale. And no matter where they go, they find some reminder of the number "300," from cloud formations to the logo on a warrior's shield to the official government name for their expedition.
