In "Homer, the Hunter," Atomic Mouse must stop a hunter named Homer who is trying to sell a dog for fifty dollars. In the second story, an astrologer called Count Zutto uses a fake astro-predictor device to convince his boss that he can forecast events by arranging for Atomic Mouse to create disasters, but threatens to announce doom unless Atomic Mouse leaves town.
When Atomic Mouse rescues a young woman named Toby from a riding accident, she becomes instantly smitten and insists on making him supper—a gesture that drags along Professor Invento and sets off a chain of mishaps involving burned capes, judo moves, and a conveniently timed fire. As Atomic Mouse and Toby keep getting tangled up in each other's heroics, the Professor starts to wonder if the two might actually make the perfect team, leading to some unexpected romantic confusion.
When Miss Delphine realizes she's forgotten to bake a birthday cake for Li'l Mouse's party, Atomic Mouse springs into action—gathering ingredients from across the globe and enlisting some unconventional help to create a cake worthy of the occasion. It's a race against the clock as the superhero pulls out all the stops to save the celebration.
A man buys a hunting dog named Homer for fifty dollars, confident he's found a bargain—but soon discovers the pup is spectacularly incompetent at the job, crashing through the woods and sabotaging every opportunity. As the frustrated hunter's patience wears thin, Homer stumbles into an unexpected way to prove his worth.
When Count Gatto convinces all of Mouseville that he can predict the future by reading the stars, Atomic Mouse suspects the feline fortune-teller is up to no good—and decides to investigate. Armed with the truth about the con artist's scheme, our hero must expose Count Gatto's deception before the manipulative cat uses his fake predictions to turn the entire town against him.
