“Ilmojen ihme”

In "Ilmojen ihme," Grumpy Laura’s rebellious streak takes a wild turn when she skips school, wreaks havoc at breakfast, and trashes a dirty car before heading to the park—only to find her misbehavior spirals into a surreal nightmare. As the world around her empties and her mother vanishes, she wakes in a hospital bed, shaken and suddenly aware of the consequences of her actions. A quiet moment of reflection follows, as Laura quietly resolves to do better—this time, for real. Art by Phil Gascoine, with inks by the same, delivers a striking visual journey through teenage angst and waking up.

Grumpy Laura decides to skip school, raids breakfast, vandalizes a dirty car and heads to the park, where she litters and hogs the swings. In a nightmare sequence she runs through an emptying world—park, car, even her mother seem to vanish—until she wakes in a hospital bed with a bandage and a scare. Shaken, she admits it was “just a dream… luckily” and resolves to change her ways.
