About this Collection

This omnibus collects the full run of Batman stories illustrated by legendary artist Neal Adams, spanning the late 1960s through the early 1970s. It includes landmark issues from Batman, Detective Comics, and The Brave and the Bold, featuring iconic tales like 'The Demon of Gothos Mansion' and the introduction of Ra's al Ghul. Adams' dynamic, realistic art redefined the Dark Knight's visual identity during a pivotal era for the character.

In "The Superman Batman Revenge Squads!", Bruce Wayne takes on a surprising new responsibility when Lance Bruner, the son of a late friend, becomes his ward. As Dick and the Titans try to guide Lance through his rebellious phase, the teen’s discovery of Batman and Robin’s true identities sets off a chain of events that tests loyalty and trust. With Neal Adams’ dynamic art and Ben Oda’s crisp lettering, this story captures the raw tension of a young man caught between defiance and belonging—cover by Neal Adams.
