In the future, an older, battle-weary Batman travels to England to investigate when a Gotham-to-London flight is brought down killing all on board, with the killers indicating that they initiated the crash because of Batman. With the Knight injured in the attack, Batman teams with the new Squire to battle the Gentleman Ghost and also to defend Beryl against a return attack by the killers.
