In "The Vaude-Villain," Betty finds herself tangled in a bizarre misunderstanding after stopping at a curio shop following her recent heroics. The eccentric ex-vaudevillian Harpo De Hoofer, convinced Betty is targeting him, unleashes his theatrical brand of mischief. Written by Bob Bolling and illustrated by Doug Crane, with inks by Ken Selig, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1995 issue features a cover by Stan Goldberg and Henry Scarpelli.
