The guys all ignore Betty so she goes out to collect sea shells. Moose asks Betty if she could made a seashell box for Midge since he liked the one Betty made for a craft show. When Archie and Reggie hear how thrilled Midge was to receive it they ask Betty to make one for Veronica but claim it's for their mothers.
