Betty and Veronica #232

Feb 2008 · Archie · 2.25 USD
“Backstage Pass”

In "Backstage Pass," Archie’s usual tardiness lands him in a familiar predicament—late for school again. With Betty and Veronica offering their usual mix of advice, Archie opts for a ride with Veronica, only to find their morning derailed by a lost homework assignment and a broken heel, leaving him to carry her the rest of the way. Written by George Gladir and illustrated by Jeff Shultz, with inks by Al Milgrom, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Jack Morelli, this 2008 issue captures the classic Archie charm with a splash of comedic chaos. The cover, penciled by Jeff Shultz and inked by Al Milgrom, perfectly captures the moment’s lighthearted tension.
