The issue opens with a main story titled "The Haunted Cave" in which Billy the Kid encounters spiritual forces and a mysterious armored woman in a cave setting, battling against supernatural threats and armed adversaries. A secondary story, "Ten-Gallon Allen," is a comedic western tale about a character named Ten-Gallon Allen who sells his guitar to a sheriff for ten dollars and attempts to collect additional payment for playing music. The final visible story involves Billy the Kid and Native American characters in a ritualistic scenario where evil spirits are driven into a young boy's body during a ceremony, requiring the medicine man to perform dangerous fire-based rituals to expel them.
