With Booster missing and reports of heroes coming back to life as Black Lanterns, Rip sends Skeets to see if Blue Beetle has any information on the whereabouts of Booster. Booster, however, is actually in the past, re-visiting the funeral of Ted Kord. Skeets and Blue Beetle’s search for Booster takes them to Booster’s relative Daniel, but they are interrupted by Black Lantern Blue Beetle. Daniel quickly changes into his Supernova outfit, but the Black Lantern is much more powerful than Daniel, and has him up against a wall when Booster arrives, having returned from his trip to the past.
