A giant turkey escapes at a school, causing chaos and endangering students until Buster Bunny arrives to help capture it. When Buster pursues the turkey through town, he encounters various obstacles including a man on a ladder, a store owner, and eventually a policeman, leading to a series of slapstick confrontations. The story culminates with Buster and the policeman crashing through a restaurant window while chasing the turkey, after which they discover the chaos was all for nothing—the turkey turned out to be worth seven years of bad luck rather than a fortune.
