Captain Marvel Adventures #38
In "Captain Marvel Meets the Man Nobody Loved!", Billy Batson finds himself caught in a Hollywood stunt when a letter from director Hitchblock pulls him into a movie set—only to become the star of a real-life thriller. With Mr. Mind back and using the film’s production as a cover to launch his next scheme, the young hero must dodge a mechanical worm with a mind of its own and a cadre of monsters sent to silence him. Otto Binder and C. C. Beck bring the action to life with their signature energy, while Pete Costanza’s cover captures the chaos in bold, dynamic lines.
