# Captain Midnight #63 The main story follows Captain Midnight as he receives a phone call from a criminal contact planning a nationwide crime wave under the leadership of a man called Sing Sing Smith, with a rendezvous set at Newton Reservoir. Captain Midnight heads to Chicago to attend a convention of the country's biggest crooks to infiltrate the organization. The issue also features "Adventures of 'U.C.' and Quickie," a backup story in which two young scouts named U.C. and Quickie rescue people stranded on a raft near waterfalls and are later rewarded with a treat by Mrs. Royal Crown Cola for their heroic actions.
