Cat-Man Comics #23

An anthology issue featuring two main stories: In the first, Cat-Man battles criminals in a violent confrontation involving gunplay and a car chase that results in the death of a character named Lonnigan at the hands of "the Deacon." The second story, "The Ragman," reveals how a patriotic day nursery operated by Mrs. Bran has become a front for Nazi spies gathering intelligence from unsuspecting children and parents, until the Ragman intervenes to stop their operations. The issue also includes advertisements for other comic titles including Aero Comics, Terrific Comics, and Suspense Comics.
