Catwoman #4

Part of DC's 2012 New 52 relaunch, this fourth issue of Catwoman arrives with a striking cover by Guillem March that frames Selina Kyle crouched atop a gated wall — "Beware of Dogs" and "Keep Out" signs posted below her — against a pale full moon with bare branches framing the scene. Her sleek black suit and cat-ear cowl are rendered with confident, fluid linework, and the tagline "A Death in the Family" lends the image a genuinely somber weight. With Judd Winick scripting and March on full art duties inside as well, this is a sharp entry in the early New 52 run for one of DC's most compelling antiheroes.
