Catwoman #55

Part three of "The Replacements" arrives in this July 2006 installment of Will Pfeifer's run, drawn inside by David López and Álvaro López. Adam Hughes's cover sets a moody, neon-drenched tone — a woman in pearls gazes upward along a rain-slicked storefront glowing with pink and teal signage, while a shadowy figure plummets silhouetted against the night sky above her. It's a beautifully composed image that captures the street-level tension and atmosphere this series does so well.
