Chasing the Dead #3

Based on Joe Schreiber's horror novel, this IDW adaptation reaches its third installment with a cover that practically radiates dread — a terrified woman screams as a swarm of decayed, bloody hands claw at her from every direction, closing in relentlessly while she clutches what appears to be a glowing light for dear life. The composition by Scott, Westland, and Smith is genuinely unsettling, surrounding the central figure with reaching undead limbs that leave almost no escape route visible. If you've been following this series through 2013, this cover alone makes a strong case that the tension is only building.
