# Cheyenne Kid #32 The main story "The Battle of Brothers!" depicts the Cheyenne Kid's violent confrontation with his blood brother Stone Deer, who has turned renegade. The Cheyenne Kid races to stop Stone Deer's plan, engaging in a fierce battle that culminates with both men apparently falling into a river. An accompanying text story titled "Carey's Chance" recounts former sheriff Joe Slidell's account of Carey Lowman, a young rancher who turned to crime and held up a stagecoach, eventually being captured and imprisoned before receiving a pardon.

Cheyenne Kid

The Cheyenne Kid makes a desperate leap onto the Missouri Belle, a riverboat racing downriver, to warn Captain Tompkins of a pirate ambush waiting at Rock Bend—complete with sunken logs meant to cripple the ship. When the Captain initially dismisses his story, Cheyenne takes matters into his own hands, rallying a crew to eliminate the river pirates and clear the snags before sunrise. But the real danger lurks aboard: a passenger named St. John Milray, a junior partner in the Golanda Company, is orchestrating the attack to steal four hundred pounds of gold hidden in the Captain's cabin, and he won't go down without a fight.

Cheyenne Kid

Cheyenne Kid, an army scout caught between two worlds, rides to confront his childhood blood-brother Stone Deer, a renegade warrior whose ambition to lead the Cheyenne into war threatens to spark a devastating conflict. When diplomacy fails, the two men face off in a brutal combat tied together at the wrists, perched high above the raging Colorado River—a fight where only one can emerge victorious. This tense 1962 western pits loyalty against duty as the Cheyenne Kid struggles to stop a war he knows will cost both red and white lives.
