Comet No. 113 is an anthology comic containing four stories: "Scamp," featuring a red-haired dog who joins his father on a motorcycle ride that ends with a crash into a wall; "Dr. Pennyfabber," in which the titular doctor discusses the nature of real people versus those in books; "Splash Page and the Missing Prince," an adventure narrative where Splash and Jill rescue the kidnapped Prince Stefan from a Scottish castle, battling two crooks with guns and ultimately overpowering them; and "Rusty Riley," a longer story involving Hereyward and his companions' efforts to rescue prisoners, including scenes of forest travel and conflict with armed opponents.
