Jergal Zadh discovers that Conan will one day be king and sends Cleolanthe after him. Cleolanthe tricks Conan into using the soul-stealing Dark Blade. Falling in love with him, Cleolanthe turns against Zadh and stops Conan from using the Blade. Without Zadh's powers keeping her youthful, Cleolanthe embraces Conan one last time and crumbles to dust.
