Crisis on Infinite Earths #7
In "Beyond the Silent Night," the final remnants of the multiverse teeter on the edge of annihilation as the Anti-Monitor’s solar machine threatens to consume the last five surviving Earths. With Harbinger and Pariah revealing the ancient origins of the multiverse and the roles they’ve played across time, the heroes make their final stand—culminating in Supergirl’s ultimate sacrifice to disable the machine, forcing the Anti-Monitor to retreat. Written by Marv Wolfman and brought to life by George Pérez’s dynamic artwork, with inks by Jerry Ordway and Dick Giordano, and colors by Tom Ziuko, this pivotal issue closes a chapter with quiet dignity and emotional weight. The cover, a striking piece by George Pérez, captures the moment’s gravity.
