“The Terror That Creeps”

In "The Terror That Creeps," three men attempt to prank an old man by feeding him fake alien radio signals, but their game takes a chilling turn when a mysterious force disrupts their transmission. When they finally break into his home, they find only a single message on a pad: "They have come for me at last!" Written and illustrated entirely by Bill Everett, this eerie 1974 tale from Marvel delivers a haunting blend of paranoia and the unknown. The cover, by Larry Lieber and Tom Palmer, captures the creeping dread with a stark, unsettling image.
