“The Menace of Shandu!”

In "The Menace of Shandu!", a man’s fragile grip on reality unravels when his brother claims to commune with their dead mother—provoking violent rage and a desperate act of revenge. After his wife poisons him, he believes he’s survived, only to return home to find her indifferent and his brother eerily whispering, “I see all dead people, don’t I, Philip?” Tony Di Preta handles both pencils and inks for the chilling interior art, while Gil Kane and Tom Palmer deliver the haunting cover.
