Daredevil #30
In "If There Should Be a Thunder God!", Daredevil dons a Thor-inspired costume to lure out the rogue duo of Cobra and Hyde, only to find the real Thor himself furious at the impersonation. Written by Stan Lee and illustrated with striking drama by Gene Colan, with inks by J. Tartaglione and letters by Artie Simek, this 1967 issue sees Matt Murdock face a god and a villain in equal measure—leading to a shocking twist that strips him of his enhanced senses, leaving him truly blind. The cover, by Gene Colan and John Tartaglione, captures the moment of divine confrontation with thunderous intensity.
