Strange #28
In "Le cri du Fantôme," Matt Murdock, now dressed as Thor to lure out Cobra and Hyde, finds himself in a clash not just with his enemies, but with the real god of thunder, who isn’t amused by the impersonation. Written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Gene Colan with inks by John Tartaglione, this 1972 issue sees Daredevil face a dangerous twist when a formula from Hyde robs him of his powers—and his sight—leaving him vulnerable in a world he can no longer perceive. The cover by Jean Frisano captures the moment of confrontation with striking intensity.
