Darkness #9
In Darkness #9, Alexandre and Maximillion plunge into the Brotherhood of Darkness’s hidden lair, only to face their leader, Sonatine, who unearths a mysterious book by Cervantes—promising to read it to Alexandre before killing her. Written by Malachy Coney and Sophie Viévard, with art by Clarence Lansang and Cedric Nocon, and inks by Joe Weems and a team of collaborators, the issue blends occult intrigue with a surreal, grounded twist on classic literary figures. The cover by Joe Benitez and Joe Weems captures the story’s eerie, layered atmosphere.
