DC's familiar heroes get a genuinely unsettling makeover in this 2017 anthology one-shot, where the Justice League's finest are reimagined through a horror lens. Michael Wm. Kaluta's cover sets a feverish tone — a corrupted Wonder Woman looms at the top wielding her lasso like a predator's snare, a hollow-eyed Superman slumps beneath her grip, and below them a werewolf-like Flash, a decaying Green Lantern, and a shadowy Batman complete a cascade of monstrous versions of DC's greatest icons. At $9.99 it's a substantial anthology package, written by Keith Giffen and Edward Lee with interior art by Howard Porter and Hi-Fi's colors bringing "Bump in the Night" and more to life.
