Berenice travels into town to the local library to research the history of Glencourt Manor. She learns that Adelia vanished the day after her wedding, no body was ever found. Berenice visits Sam at the antiques shop, and has a strange vision of her with him. Sam drives her back to Glencourt, where Nathan surprises her by proposing. At the moment of the proposal, Adelia screams due to a painful memory, and the dark wraith appears and threatens to kill Nathan.
