Donald Duck #106
In "Super-Efficient Road Service," Goofy’s latest misadventure begins with a string of job losses and a freight train ride to Boothillburg, where he’s unexpectedly named sheriff—though he’s unaware that the notorious Badger Beagle is already in town, eager to add another name to his list. Written by Vic Lockman and brought to life with energetic art by Tony Strobl, inks by Steve Steere, and colors by the Western Publishing Production Shop, this 1966 classic features a cover by Carl Barks, whose distinctive pencils and inks capture the town’s dusty charm and Goofy’s wide-eyed optimism.
