Donald Duck #105
In "A Complainer's Complaint," Donald Duck and the nephews take to the skies in a jet plane on a quest for the fabled pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, sent by Scrooge McDuck. But when Magica De Spell hijacks their mission and conjures a storm to force a rainbow into a drought-stricken land, the legend faces its most unexpected test yet. Written by Bob Ogle and illustrated by Tony Strobl with inks by Mike Royer, this 1966 Western Publishing classic features a cover by Carl Barks, whose distinctive art brings the whimsy and tension of the tale to life.

Scrooge sends Donald and the boys to look for the fabled pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Their jet-plane aerial search is taken over by Magica De Spell who wants the gold for herself. The rainbow ends - and vanishes - in a far-eastern country where rain is not expected for another year, causing angry Magica to use her powers of sorcery to conjure up a "gully-washer" that produces a rainbow of its own. Under such conditions, can there be any truth to the pot of gold legend?
