The witch doctor Itolo, seeking revenge for insults from Murviro, attempts to kill Muviro's son, M'Banda. M'Banda suffers a blow to the head that leaves his memory impaired. Due to his muddled reasoning, he makes his way to Pal-ul-don. Tarzan and the Waziri track him there and, on his recovery of his senses, bring him home.
