Eerie #4
In "Cremation of Evil," Dick Cartwright inherits a family estate and a mysterious model ship, "The Falcon," from an ancestor whose dark legacy lives on in the ship’s cursed crew. As the undead captain emerges from the model, the truth of a long-buried crime begins to surface—only to claim Dick as its final victim. Mo Marcus brings the chilling tale to life with stark, evocative art, while Wally Wood’s haunting cover captures the dread of a family’s cursed inheritance.

Dick Cartwright inherits a house and a model ship of "The Falcon". His ancestor had build the original ship and purposefully caused the crew to die by depleting them of rations so he can collect the insurance. The sailors are doomed to live as figurines on the ship until the last of the Cartwrights die. The undead captain confronts Dick. When his wife hears a scream she finds him dead. He is now a figurine alongside the doomed crew on the model ship.
