An Egyptologist named Dr. Vetry, his daughter Vera, and his assistant find a hidden pyramid in an Egyptian desert valley. Looking into the story of eternal life, they open the tomb and release a 5,000 year old mummified priest who was condemned to eternal life by Anubis himself. When the mummy attacks Vera, the assistant kills it with his pickaxe causing it to crumble into dust. The three leave the valley but Dr. Vetry was able to procure a parchment containing the formula for an elixir for eternal life. Will he use it?
