“Party Time!”

In "Party Time!", Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, gears up for the anniversary of her cult TV show *Movie Macabre*, but her celebration takes a delightfully chaotic turn when her arch-enemy Skelloween crashes the party. With tipsy guests, a cake that goes off like a firework, and an unnervingly catchy tune performed by Skelloween and his bizarre backup group, The Vegetable Pips, chaos reigns—until Elvira restores order. Written by Paul Dini and illustrated by Ronn Sutton, with lettering by Susan Dorne and inks by Louis LaChance, this 1998 issue features a cover by David Goldner, capturing the ghoulish fun in full swing.

Elvira prepares for the Anniversary Celebration of her cable TV show "Movie Macabre" but things go awry when arch-enemy Skelloween arrives. This includes drunken guests, an exploding birthday cake, and a very odd musical number performed by Skelloween and The Vegetable Pips (his back-up singers). Eventually Skelloween is sent back to his own dimension and all is well.
