Elvira, Mistress of the Dark #75
In "Elvira, Mistress of the Jungle," the iconic hostess of horror takes a daring trip to Africa, teaming up with anthropologist Diane Duall. After a jeep explosion and a ride on komodo dragons, Elvira and Diane stumble upon a hidden lair where the sinister Silent Q and W.H.I.S.P.E.R. are turning jungle creatures into monstrous hybrids. With help from a native tribe, they free the captives—but Silent Q escapes, only to reappear as the pilot on Elvira’s return flight, gun in hand. Written by Frank Strom and illustrated by Ronn Sutton, this jungle adventure features Elvira in her signature "jungle girl" outfit, with lettering by Susan Dorne and a cover by Ronn Sutton.
