Meanwhile, Stardust learns of the alien invasion plot through his thought-process television unit and heads toward Earth to intercept the threat. The issue also features stories of Yank Wilson and Sub Saunders, along with a Flip and Adele adventure involving giant spiders and bats that forces the Fourth Dimension Bolt to rescue them.
Flip Falcon invents a remarkable reducing fluid and sets out with Adele to use it against the Heidites, but their fourth-dimension machine goes haywire and lands them on a bizarre alien world. Stranded on a planet of carnivorous plants and spider-like creatures, Flip and Adele must use their wits and his shrinking serum to survive encounters with hostile life forms while waiting for their machine to bring them home.
Yank Wilson, super-spy Q-4, follows a trail of stolen military plans to a mysterious safe house guarded by a clever audio device hidden in a tree. When he's captured by the spy ring and forced aboard a bomber with a bomb strapped to him, the resourceful agent turns the tables with a daring aerial maneuver that targets the spies' headquarters itself.
Stardust detects a dire threat from beyond the stars: the Emerald Men of Asperus, a superintelligent alien race plotting to enslave Earth by using planetary-control gas bombs to sever our world from the Sun's influence. Racing against time, the cosmic crime-fighter must intercept the incoming bombardment and confront the emerald invaders in a spectacular battle across the void.
Sub Saunders, a young officer in the submarine forces, springs into action when Queen Lantida of the lost undersea city of Atlantis vanishes—and his investigation leads him to a mysterious cavern ruled by the Octopeople, a race that worships a colossal octopus god. With his crew treated to survive underwater and a battalion of Atlantean frogmen at his back, Sub must navigate deadly vapors and face down a monstrous sacrifice to save the queen and stop the Octopeople's dark plans.
