Fear Itself: Deadpool #3
In "From Tusk Till Dawn," Deadpool finds himself on the wrong end of a full-moon showdown with the Walrus, who wields a magical hammer meant to slay werewolves—ironically, the same hammer Deadpool once gave him. With his usual brand of chaotic bravado and a sudden surge of purpose, Deadpool must confront his most relentless foe yet, all while questioning whether heroism is worth the cost. Written by Christopher Hastings and illustrated by Bong Dazo, with inks by Joe Pimentel, colors by Matt Milla, and letters by Simon Bowland, the issue's cover by Ryan Stegman and Michael Babinski captures the wild, moonlit intensity of the battle.

By the light of the full moon, the Walrus beats on Deadpool with his magical werewolf slaying hammer even though Deadpool gave him the hammer in the first place and isn't, himself, a werewolf. Deadpool gives up and runs away a few times before the impetus that drives him to all of his heroic actions kicks in and gives him the strength to face down one of his most powerful foes (if he don't win the fight, he don't get paid).
