Fear Itself: Deadpool #2
In "Walrus By Night!", Deadpool unleashes the Walrus and his seemingly fake magical hammer on the desert town of Cimarron, New Mexico, only to find the weapon’s power is very real—especially under the full moon. With a mix of chaos, Confederate gold, and a rhythm that’s strictly hammer time, Deadpool’s plan takes a turn neither he nor the town saw coming. Written by Christopher Hastings and illustrated by Bong Dazo, with inks by Joe Pimentel, colors by Matt Milla, and letters by Simon Bowland, the cover by Ryan Stegman and Michael Babinski captures the absurdity and action in full, wild swing.

Deadpool turns the Walrus and his fake magical hammer loose on the city of Cimarron, New Mexico. Once the villain has wreaked enough havoc, Deadpool rides into town and offers to save them for a passel of Confederate gold. His plan sort of backfires as the hammer he gave to the Walrus does, indeed, turn out to be magical, specifically, it is a magical werewolf hunting hammer that gains immeasurable power by the light of the full moon. Guess what time it is when Deadpool decides to take on the Walrus (Hammer time, doo doo doo do, do do, do do).
