Film Fun #1513 is an anthology comic featuring multiple film-star comedy stories. The issue includes a Laurel & Hardy tale titled "Money for Nothing!" in which Olly receives a letter requesting a donation and subsequently encounters various misadventures involving beggars and a wealthy uncle named Stanley. Frank Randle's story follows the famous star as he becomes entangled in a case of mistaken identity involving a lost note and a rival, resulting in slapstick chaos at a mallet on the business-end. The issue also contains "House of Thrills," a dramatic story about the Brynmore Hall estate and its dark secrets involving a murder and the ringing of the Brynmore Bell, as well as a Joe E. Brown adventure in which he encounters mishaps while helping recover a stolen fancy dress costume at a society ball.
