Film Fun #1519 is an anthology comic featuring three illustrated stories: "L. and H. Sleeping Partners," a Laurel and Hardy tale about the comedians' misadventures when one falls asleep while the other attempts various schemes; "Frank Randle, Famous Star of Mancunian Films," depicting the titular actor's dramatic struggles on a film set; and "The House of Thrills," a prose-illustrated mystery story by Roger Falcon involving a haunted building and criminal intrigue. The issue also includes "Joe E. Brown, The Famous Fellow of the Films," showing the comic actor's humorous escapades with his friend Horace at a boarding house.
