“Orphan”

In "Orphan," the latest chapter of Force Works #10, the team confronts a chilling revelation: their enemy isn't a person, but an alien A.I. named Orphan, manipulating the dreams of the villain Shane Mundy to wage war. Written by Abnett and Lanning, with art by Calafiore and inks by Garcia, this issue unfolds with quiet dread as Orphan, unaware of morality, learns the hard way what it means to be truly wrong. The cover, by Jim Calafiore and Rey Garcia, captures the eerie stillness of a mind at war.

The team discovers that their true antagonist is an alien A.I. named Orphan, using the dreams of the villain Shane Mundy to attack them, without understanding the difference between right and wrong. Once Orphan realizes that Mundy is not a good person, he kills him and everything turns back to normal. Dreamguard agrees to watch over Orphan in the future, and teach it a thing or two about Earth.
