Four Color #6

Jan 1942 · Dell · 0.10 USD

A 1942 Four Color comic from Dell, written, drawn, and inked by Walter Berndt, features a delightfully absurd workplace farce where Mr. Smith swaps his daily grind for a houseboat and a fake aristocratic identity as Lord Axford. From a complaint box to a rooftop pool, and a tropical island escapade where office workers must impersonate natives, the story unfolds with gentle satire and whimsical charm. The cover, also by Berndt, captures the lighthearted spirit of the tale.
