Freddy and his classmates, including Peggy, Stuff, and Rip, embark on a field trip led by Miss Bunsen to collect specimens of flora and fauna. As they explore, Freddy’s antics and pranks—like unleashing a bull named Rip and tricking others with fake creatures—turn the outing into a chaotic, humorous adventure. The story ends with the group returning to class, where each student presents their collected specimens, leaving the outcome of their findings open-ended.
