Margie and Mrs. Odetts visit Stone's Jewelry during a giant sale, where Margie becomes enchanted by a dazzling ring—only to later discover it’s a fake, leading to a comical misunderstanding that lands them in trouble with the police. When the real burglar duo is caught, the women are mistakenly accused, prompting a humorous courtroom scene where their innocence is revealed.

Freddy is frustrated when Peggy takes forever to get ready for a dance, declaring that a man should be in charge and a woman shouldn’t keep him waiting. The next night, Peggy arrives early—so early that Freddy starts to worry she’s lost interest, until he realizes she’s just following his own advice to the letter.
